We are actively seeking passionate individuals to join our Food Hub Committee and contribute to the operationalization and construction phases of the project. By becoming a member, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the direction of the food hub and make a lasting impact on our community.
Food Hub Steering Committee Roles
We are looking for experts in the following areas to join our steering committee:
- Construction Experts
- Provide valuable insights and guidance on the construction of the food hub facility
- Financial Management Experts
- Offer expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of the food hub
- End Users of the Facility
- Represent the diverse range of stakeholders who will benefit from the food hub’s resources and services, including:

– Other Agricultural Producers - b. Community/Commissary Kitchen
– Startup Agricultural Food Businesses
– Food Truck Operators
– Value-Added Producers
– Personal Fish Processing

– Community Food Services (Meals on Wheels) - c. Cold & Ambient Warehousing
– Fisheries
– Mariculture
– Restaurants & Food Trucks
– Community Member Private Storage
